Case Description Mr Angrej Singh was working in a transport company from 4 years .His second visa was expired in April 2016 and he gave his medical examination report and related docs for the process of visa renewal . The PRO and owner after 3 months in July informed him that they are closing the company and he may find his way to clear the fines and give them the amount so that they will cancel his visa .He went to MOL and from their they gave a letter for emigration to cancel his visa himself and he went to emigration and they informed that if he applies for exit with the judgment he will get a Ban . So he returned and is requesting for cancellation of visa after payment of fines by the employer since in the case he claims that it was not his fault and he want to join a new job since he is already having new offer. Action taken by IWRC IWRC spoke with Employer), as per him he is ready to cancel the visa of Mr. Angraj Singh. He requested IWRC to inform Mr. Angraj Singh to contact him so that he can do the further needful. IWRC Called and conveyed the same to Mr. Angraj Singh, he had agreed to go and meet employer. Further informed him to contact us if he require any further help related to his case Result Mr.Angraj Singh called and informed us that his visa got cancelled form the company and he is going back to India. Case Description Mr Vijaya Kumar has been working with the company for last 2 years, his visa is expired .He resigned from the job on 10 September 2016 and stopped work on 21st september ,2016 because of his heart issue. Company is not cancelling the visa but postponing the dates. He wants to go back to India for taking treatment. Action taken by IWRC IWRC spoke with HR Department several times .On subsequent follow ups they agreed to cancel Mr. Vijaya Kumar visa . Result Mr Vijaya Kumar informed that his visa cancellation procedure has been done and he thanked to IWRC for giving such a timely help. IWRC Informed him to update before leaving the country. Comments by the complainant Mr Vijay Kumar called and informed that he is going to India. He conveyed his thanks and regards to IWRC again and again.
Case Description The employer informed us that she wanted to recruit a housemaid, so she advertised the same in the Gulf news. She was contacted by Ms. Mamatha from India over phone and informed her that a lady named Ms. Neelam is available for the housemaid work. Employer was asked to pay an amount of AED 1000/- for the housemaid -recruitment along with the Air Ticket and Ms.Neelam was sent a tourist visa to UAE for the sake of ignoring the deposit amount to Indian consulate. When Ms. Neelam come to UAE employer came to know that she was misinformed about the nature of work in India and wants to go to Indian as soon as possible. Action taken by IWRC IWRC spoke with employer to release her and passport and safe return to India. Indian Consulate was also informed about the same as IWRC received calls from some other ladies from Indian Ladies Association. As no one had the rights to recruit an Indian Housemaid on Tourist Visa without approval from Indian Authorities, as per the information from Indian Consulate that it would be best of her interest that Ms. Neelam has to go to Indian immediately without waiting for any others to recruit her, IWRC Called and conveyed the same to employee and further informed Mrs. Aparna Mahesh to take Air Ticket and send Ms. Neelam to India on immediate basis. Employer had agreed for the same and confirmed us that she will take Air Ticket by end of the day Result Ms. Neelam called from the Airport and confirmed us that she is going to India today. She conveyed thanks to IWRC team for their support. Case closed as agreed by Ms. Neelam Comments by the complainant Mrs Neelam called and thanked IWRC for support.
Case Description :- Mr Sudhir Kumar called stating that he and colleagues are presently stranded in a ship.His company is not giving the sign off. Needs Provision of food and power in ship. Action taken by IWRC :- IWRC spoke with employer,as per him he had already sent the food provisions to Ship .Matter was informed to Indian Consulate . Food was arranged from their side as well. The sponsor also informed us about the loss of passport for Mr Sudhir Kumar .As advised by consulate Indian Association Ajman was contacted and with their help , an Emergency Certificate for Mr Sudhir Kumar was raised from Consulate . Though Mr Osama , the owner suddenly left the country, IWRC and Indian Association Ajman kept following up the matter with Mr Osama’s Office and agent .The agent company asked IWRC for an additional letter from Indian Consulate which was also arranged. Result Mr Sudhir Kumar called stating that he is leaving for Airport from Ship. He thanked IWRC for the continued support from August. Comments by the complainant Mr Byju from the agency informed us that Mr Sudhir Kumar was dropped to airport on 28th November ,2016 for travel to India .
Case Description :- He called and informed that he was working for a company from past six months under unlimited contract and he comes under skilled labour visa. As per the information he got from MOL he gave resignation and completed one month notice period .After that company has cancelled his visa and now he have got another job.But to take the new visa when he approach the old company ,they are not ready to give his passport and now they demand for visa charges they have spent for him. When he approached consulate they told to Contact IWRC Action taken by IWRC :- IWRC Spoke with employer, he informed that they are ready to solve the issue amicably and informed that Mr. Azhar can visit the Office Tomorrow 8/7/2017 at 9am and collect his passport. Result Mr. Azhar called and informed us that with the help of IWRC He have got his Passport back and without taking any money from him .He thanked IWRC for this support. Case Description :- Mr. Abdul Haseeb Vishan sayed is working in Quality International from 5 years and he had given his resignation letter to the company on 01st April 2016 but company is not cancelling his visa. He requested IWRC for help to get his visa cancellation. Action taken by IWRC IWRC spoke with employer, He informed us that he is ready to settle the matter by paying overstay fine and visa cancellation Result :- Mr. Haseeb informed us that his issue is solved. Company is ready to pay the over stay fine and company is ready to cancel his visa also. Comments by the complainant :- Thanked IWRC for support.
Case Description :-
Mr. Peer Mohammed (Employee - Indian National), he is so depressed and tried to commit suicide due to his personal problems.
Action taken by IWRC :-
IWRC Spoke with Mr. Peer Mohammed and provided him the personal counseling and convinced him against the suicide.
Counseling has been provided and he had agreed not to commit any suicide attempt in future

Case Description :-
He called and informed us that he was working in a company for last 2 years and now contract is finished , visa cancellation also done but company not giving air ticket as it was mentioned in contract and asking for air ticket money.
Action taken by IWRC :-
IWRC spoke with employer and informed him to pay the pending salary and provide them the air ticket also.
He agreed for the same and confirmed us that he will provide all the pending salary and air ticket. Result :-
Mr. Raja Rajendran called and confirmed us that he got the passport in the Airport with the pending salary.
